About

Hey Y’all…

Welcome to my little spot in the big wide world…also called Temptations & Treats. This is my first blog…and I am a little nervous. I guess maybe I should introduce myself first…I’m Kimberly Anne Kleisch, and it is nice to meet you. Oh…and BTW, I’m a toy lady. Yep…I do naughty parties (lol)…and this blog is intended for people who are 18+ only.

Through Temptations & Treats I am trying to find my niche in the world, well part of it anyway. At 44 I am still trying to find my way…a little bit.  As of December 13, 2012 I am officially a UNC-Greensboro Public Health Education graduate. My desire is to put my degree to work in a couple of different ways….one of which is through my creation of Temptations & Treats. Please understand, public health is NOT always all about diseases and sickness. Believe it or not….sexuality & sexual health are part of the deal. The World Health Organization (WHO) gives us the following definitions:

Sexuality

Sexuality is a central aspect of being human throughout life and encompasses sex, gender identities and roles, sexual orientation, eroticism, pleasure, intimacy and reproduction. Sexuality is experienced and expressed in thoughts, fantasies, desires, beliefs, attitudes, values, behaviours, practices, roles and relationships. While sexuality can include all of these dimensions, not all of them are always experienced or expressed. Sexuality is influenced by the interaction of biological, psychological, social, economic, political, cultural, ethical, legal, historical, religious and spiritual factors                                                                                           (http://www.who.int/reproductivehealth/topics/gender_rights/sexual_health/en/).

Sexual health

Sexual health is a state of physical, emotional, mental and social well-being in relation to sexuality; it is not merely the absence of disease, dysfunction or infirmity. Sexual health requires a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as the possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences, free of coercion, discrimination and violence. For sexual health to be attained and maintained, the sexual rights of all persons must be respected, protected and fulfilled (http://www.who.int/reproductivehealth/topics/gender_rights/sexual_health/en/).

So…by combining my education and my life’s experience with being a toy lady I hope to help couples reconnect, spicy up their sex life, improve their ADULT communication; and for individuals…I hope to help them discover a new sense of comfort with their own sexuality and their bodies.
